Itinerary

When you arrive at Kathmandu’s Tribhuwan International Airport, you will be welcomed by a guide or a representative from our office and transported to your accommodation.

After breakfast, we will take you on a guided tour of Kathmandu Durbar Square, the Boudhanath stupa, the White Gompa, and Swayambhunath, all of which are places of prayer for Buddha’s students and admirers.

After breakfast today, we will take you to Dhulikhel and then take you on a sightseeing trip to Namo Buddha, a revered Buddhist site. At the monastery of Namo Buddha, lunch will be given.

You will travel back to Kathmandu from Dhulikhel and take a flight within Nepal to Lumbini, the birthplace of the Buddha. Once you arrive, a driver will pick you up and take you to the hotel.

You will explore Lumbini’s Buddhist sites today. You will view the Lumbini Garden, the World China Temple, the Thai Monastery, the Myanmar Temple, the Nepal Buddha Temple, and the World Peace Pagoda.

You will embark on a guided tour of Lumbini’s temples today, as well as view the Ashok pillar, Mayadevi Pond, and the revered religious site that is the birthplace of Buddha. After that, you’ll return to Kathmandu via car and get to the hotel.

Transfer to Kathmandu airport in time for your flight. There are no activities planned on the last day and after breakfast, you may depart the hotel at any time. Check-out from the hotel is at 12 noon. If you are departing later, you can arrange luggage storage at the hotel.

No prior knowledge of Buddhism is necessary. Travelers can enjoy the pilgrimage for cultural, spiritual, or historical interests. Guides often explain the significance of each site.

The best seasons are:

  • Spring (March–May): Pleasant weather and clear skies.

  • Autumn (September–November): Cool temperatures and ideal travel conditions.
    Winter is cooler, and monsoon season (June–August) brings heavy rain and occasional road disruptions.

  • Lumbini: Entry ticket to the Lumbini Garden and Maya Devi Temple.

  • Kathmandu and Dhulikhel: Most monasteries and stupas are free, but some guided tours may charge nominal fees.
