Nepal Scenic Tour (Kathmandu, Nagarkot, Pokhara, Chitwan)

The fun starts after you land in Nepal and you will be amazed to explore Kathmandu. We’ll spend the evening seeing a neighborhood market in Kathmandu. Kathmandu is one of the top sightseeing places in the world as it has multiple world heritage sites and there are a lot of short hiking trips that can be performed from Kathmandu. We’ll travel to Chitwan National Park the next day. We’ll float down the Trishuli River en route to get our hearts racing. After that, we’ll keep going to the national park, where we’ll get to go on a safari and view some critically endangered animals from Nepal, such as elephants and one-horned rhinos. After that, we’ll participate in a cultural activity at a typical Tharu village.

We will continue our journey and go on to Pokhara when we have finished exploring Chitwan National Park. We will get up close to the Himalayas and take in the greatest views of the entire journey in this breathtakingly beautiful mountain hamlet. We will reach Pokhara in the midday so the remainder of the day will be spent touring other attractions. Next day we will be exploring Pokhara top attractions like Sarangkot, David Falls, & much more.

Itinerary

When you arrive at Kathmandu’s Tribhuwan International Airport, you will be welcomed by a guide or a representative from our office and transported to your accommodation.

After breakfast, one of Nepal’s most significant Hindu temples, Pashupatinath Temple, will be the first stop on your half-day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Valley. We continue our stroll to view Boudhanath, the tallest pagoda in Nepal and a gigantic Buddha stupa. Then, our journey moves towards Bhaktapur’s Dubar Square, which is decorated with temples and a temple complex in the Victorian architectural style, after taking a journey to the intriguing town of Bhaktapur, we move forward to Nagarkot.

After breakfast, we head back to Kathmandu and continue our valley sightseeing, stopping at these places:

  • Swoyambhunath, a stupa on top of a hill from where you can take in the view of Kathmandu Valley.
  • Kumari Temple, the home of the virgin goddess.
  • Kathmandu Durbar Square, the former residence of the Malla and later the Shah Kings of Nepal.
  • Krishna Mandir, the Golden Temple.
  • Patan City, the second-largest town in the valley.

We depart Kathmandu for Royal Chitwan National Park after breakfast. We will stop for rafting at Trishuli River on the route to Chitwan. After doing 3-4 hours of rafting, we continue our trip to Chitwan. There are several safari activities you may partake in Chitwan, including jungle hikes, paddling, 4WD safaris, and more. At night, we keep you entertained with traditional shows, such as bonfires, before you go to sleep. Also, do not forget to charge your Camera and phone

After breakfast, we will be doing a full day of safari activities in Royal Chitwan National Park. If you’re lucky, you’ll see many wonderful species that you spend most of your time hunting for, such as Rhinoceroses, Chitwan’s Royal Bengal tigers, Leopards, Monkeys, and many different varieties of Deer and Reptiles. You need to check your camera equipment, particularly with a telephoto lens, to ensure you don’t miss any images.

After breakfast, we leave for Pokhara and begin a half-day sightseeing tour of the city. Pokhara is the second-most visited city in Nepal after Kathmandu. Spend the morning strolling along the shore of Phewa Lake to take in the breathtaking view of Fish Tail’s Peak reflected in the lake’s silvery surface.

From the lake, you can also see how the magnificent Annapurna panorama provides a stunning background for Pokhara. In addition to Phewa Lake, we continue to explore other top tourist destinations.

Adventure sports including bungee jumping, paragliding, ultralight flying, and river rafting on the Seti river are available in Pokhara (at an extra fee). After breakfast, we will proceed for Pokhara city tour. We will visit Mahendra Cave, David’s Falls, and so on. Also, for some fascinating insights into the world of mountaineering, we will visit the International Mountain Museum.

Later we go for a Sarangkot located at 10kms away from Pokhara. In about 30 minutes we will reach there. If you are interested, you can participate in activities like Paragliding. If you are not taking any part, then enjoy the beautiful scenic view. In the evening, to watch the stunning sunset across the Himalayan mountains we will go to the Himalayan View Tower. The Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu Mountain Ranges, and Pokhara Valley are all beautifully visible from this viewing tower.

After breakfast, we drive back to Kathmandu. During the journey, we may see many crop lands, scenic view of river stream and much more.

Transfer to Kathmandu airport in time for your flight. There are no activities planned on the last day and after breakfast, you may depart the hotel at any time. Check-out from the hotel is at 12 noon. If you are departing later, you can arrange luggage storage at the hotel.
