Nepal Cultural Tours (Pokhara, Palpa, Lumbini, Chitwan)

This trip follows will let you deep dive into the culture of Nepal and visit different temples, monasteries, and historical places. The fun starts after you land in Nepal and you will be amazed to explore Kathmandu. We’ll spend the evening seeing a neighborhood market in Kathmandu. Kathmandu is one of the top sightseeing places in the world as it has multiple world heritage sites and there are a lot of short hiking trips that can be performed from Kathmandu.

We’ll travel to Chitwan National Park the next day. We’ll float down the Trishuli River en route to get our hearts racing. After that, we’ll keep going to the national park, where we’ll get to go on a safari and view some critically endangered animals from Nepal, such as elephants and one-horned rhinos. After that, we’ll participate in a cultural activity at a typical Tharu village. From here we will go to Lumbini, the birthplace of Siddartha Gautam (Gautam Buddha). Here we feel peace and visit the Mayadevi temple, the Ashoka Pillar, & more.

We will continue our journey and go on to Pokhara when we have finished exploring Lumbini. We will get up close to the Himalayas and take in the greatest views of the entire journey in this breathtakingly beautiful mountain hamlet. We will reach Pokhara in the midday so the remainder of the day will be spent touring other attractions.

When you arrive at Kathmandu’s Tribhuwan International Airport, you will be welcomed by a guide or a representative from our office and transported to your accommodation.

After a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, get ready to go to Chitwan. You will be drawn into the arms of nature by the southern metropolis of the nation, which is renowned for its varied animal habitat. After the 4-5 hrs. of journey, you will arrive at Chitwan. There are several safari activities you may partake in Chitwan, including jungle hikes, paddling, 4WD safaris, and more. At night, we keep you entertained with traditional shows, such as bonfires, before you go to sleep.

After breakfast, we will be doing a full day of safari activities in Royal Chitwan National Park. If you’re lucky, you’ll see many wonderful species that you spend most of your time hunting for, such as Rhinoceroses, Chitwan’s Royal Bengal tigers, Leopards, Monkeys, and many different varieties of Deer and Reptiles. You need to check your camera equipment, particularly with a telephoto lens, to ensure you don’t miss any images.

Enjoy an early breakfast at the hotel before completing the check-out process. You will next go to Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha. The trip will take about 3-4 hours. When you get at Lumbini, you will see the Mayadevi temple, the Ashoka Pillar, and many monasteries. In the evening, dinner will be provided.

Enjoy an early breakfast and you will travel to Palpa. Approximately three hours will pass throughout the drive. Here, the Newar and Magar groups make up the majority of the population. Some beautiful sites to visit are Sitalpati Narayan Temple and Tansen Shreenagar. The largest wooden door in Nepal, Bhagwati Than, Bhairab Than, and other sights are worth seeing. The pine forests appear to be pruned.

Enjoy an early breakfast and you will travel to Pokhara. Approximately 4 hours will pass throughout the drive. After reaching in Pokhara, you can freshen up in the hotel and then you may choose to unwind or go exploring Pokhara’s marketplaces and streets on your own.

Get up really early, preferably before 5 am depending on the season, to see one of the most breathtaking sunrises from Sarangkot. There will be a private vehicle used to transport you there. The remainder of the day will be spent sightseeing after that. With an hour of boating, you’ll see some of Pokhara’s most well-known attractions, including the Peace Stupa, Davis Falls, Gupteswor Cave, the Tibetan Refugee Camp, and Lake Phewa.

After breakfast, we drive back to Kathmandu. During the journey, we may see many crop lands,  scenic view of river stream and much more.

Transfer to Kathmandu airport in time for your flight. There are no activities planned on the last day and after breakfast, you may depart the hotel at any time. Check-out from the hotel is at 12 noon.

If you are departing later, you can arrange luggage storage at the hotel.
